At Hun Salon, we want every client experience to be smooth and enjoyable. By booking an appointment with us – whether through our online booking system, by phone, or in person – you are agreeing to the policies, terms and conditions outlined below. These help us keep things fair and clear for both our clients and our team.
Unfortunately, we do not have the space to accommodate additional guests, including children, unless prior agreement has been made with your stylist.
For colour and hair extension services, please ensure your hair is clean and dry before your appointment. Unwashed hair can create a barrier to colour and affect the final result. Service may be refused, or an additional fee applied, if extra time is required due to unclean hair.
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone displaying rude or inappropriate behaviour, or where a client’s health condition may influence the outcome or safety of the service.
An additional charge may apply for clients with extra-long or thick hair, to cover the additional time and product required.
For your comfort and safety, please notify your stylist if you have any allergies, any physical issues or disabilities, or if you are pregnant. If you experience discomfort or any other symptoms during your service, please let your stylist know immediately.
If you are not happy with the finished result of your appointment, please let us know during your service or within 24 hours after your appointment. We will be happy to make any corrections if it is due to fault of our own.
Cancellations or reschedules made within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a 50% fee. Arriving 15 minutes late or more may result in your appointment being cancelled and a 50% fee being charged.
No-shows (failure to attend without prior notice) will be charged at 100% of the service cost.
All fees must be paid before making any future bookings.
A non refundable booking fee will be taken for hair extension appointments before the hair can be ordered.
The deposit will be 50% of the total cost of the appointment and will need to be payed at latest a week prior to the appointment. If we do not receive the deposit payment in time then your appointment will need to be rescheduled.
A patch test must be done at least 48 hours prior to your colour appointment.
Existing clients will need a new patch test if it has been 6 months or more since their last colour service, or if there has been any change in medical history.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure a patch test has been completed before their appointment. If a patch test has not been carried out, the booking will be treated in line with our cancellation and no-show policy.
Please note: We are unable to provide colour services to clients under the age of 16.
Once you leave your hair extension appointment the aftercare is in your hands. It is important that you follow all the aftercare advice to avoid damage to your natural hair and the extension hair. If we believe you have neglected the care of your hair extensions we have the right to refuse your maintenance appointment and offer a removal service in replacement.
No refund will be offered for Hair extensions. If you are at all concerned about your hair extensions we will be more than happy to offer a free hair check appointment.
